VALUE OF GREENHEART

COULD YOU GIVE ME A ROUGH VALUE OF THIS FISHING ROD IT BELONGED TO MY GREAT GRANDFATHER AND IS AROUND 150 YEARS OLD ITS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IS STILL IN ORIGINAL COVER.IT IS A 3 PIECE ROD AND I BELIEVE TO BE HAND MADE.

Yes - here's the rough answer. The Greenheart is worth allot to a collector. To be more specific I would need to see it - a picture would help . Be careful if someone offers you to evaluate it without seeing it . A more specific and detailed description would help but still it would just be an estimate. All rods of that age are hand made.
I am guessing it is bamboo, but to could be greenheart wood.
I have never heard of a maker or model named greenheart.
You would need to tell me number of sections and length. What type of cork handle? Detailed description of the guides and all metal on it.  What is the reel seat made of ? What if any labels with details - color size etc.
