Fly Fish Maui

Question
Hi, I am looking for information on flyfishiing in Maui
during March, and am not having much luck. I have
experience fishing the flats on the Texas coast, have the
gear, just need an idea of where to go....

Please provide any info you can.

Aloha Trent,
   Unfortunately, you probably won't find anything anywhere about Flyfishing off Maui. Don't even waste your time. Simply because the Hawaiian Waters in general are just so deep, so quick. There is not very much shallow water ANYWHERE over there. Almost never see any fish school up, except way offshore. Even baitfish are very hard to find. Mostly we all troll either Live Bait, or troll High Speed lures. Just in case you might want this confimed, you can write to Capt. Mike Crawford at
