bamboo trolling rods

i WOULD LIKE TO MAKE BAMBOO  DEEP SEA RODS. i HAVE A LOT OF BAMBOO. wHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT BAMBOO AS A DEA SEA TROLLING ROD OR BOTTOM FISHING RODS? i HAVE WORKED WITH BAMBOO BEFEORE AND WONDERED IF YOU COULD GIVE ADVICE OR SEND ME LINKS FOR ROD HARDWARE TO PURCHASED.

I am sure they made tuna rods with bamboo as I have remade them into wading staffs. I only work with trout rods.
