I live in Boca Raton FL. Can you suggest a local source for graphite rod components and possibly  class on rod construction.

I don't know about Boca Raton, but most fly shops offer classes in graphite rod building . Many shops have components. I buy all my components mail order. I recommend getting the free catalogs at www.catalogcity.com.
