compact rig

Hey Dan, thanks for your help,
I'm looking for a small all in one set up, (rod/reel combo) that I can throw in my suitcase or in the trunk. A spur of the moment kind of thing. I'm not a big fisherman but I like it.

Hi Bob,
Sorry it has taken this long in responding, but I've been trying to look in some of my old files.  I used to be a member of the South Bend Pro Staff.  They had, what I think, may be the solution for your question.  It was a complete travel pack with rods that converted from fly to spinning.  I think there was also a casting rod included in the deluxe pack.  Reels were also included with the spinning and fly package.  All of this was under the Crystal River brand name.
