Sportsman Bamboo Fly Rod

Hello.  I have found an octagonal shaped Sportsman bamboo 3 piece fly fishing rod in excellent condition.  I was just wondering if you've ever heard of that brand name since I can't find anything about it online.

Yes I have seen Sportmans but apparently collectors have not. I have seen several and they were thick and heavy , not good rods, so the collectors are right to give no value to these rods. I have no history but Wards and Sears and other similar companies carried rods just like the Sportsman. It抯 a good rod to practice restoration
