Answer
Dave ,
If you have been searching for information on your metal fishing rod using the term 'pole', I am not surprised if did not find information. A pole is a eastern European while a rod is a fishing tool.
I don't understand collapsible 4 sections approx specifically '5ft oa' nor 'unique reel seat hold down Chromed seat butt cap & ferrule housing'? You also have some texting abbreviations, that I am pretty sure, someone who knows vintage rods like me, is not going to get.
Price Book:
Antique & Collectible Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide by Homel, Dan. 1997 #2nd edition 2000# add about 30% for age of book.
Some Armax rods were made by Winchester.
Homel does not list the Armax #7030.
Here are 2 steel Armax brand rods in Homel with values for poor, good, excellent condition respectively.
Telescopic steel fly/bait rod 9' with reversible handle 20 50 100
Tubular steel bait casting rod 4 1/2' #4/1# c.1930 20 45 95
The only time I have seen these metal rods sell for more than 25 was to a restaurant to decorate a wall.
A recent search of completed items on ebay confirms the above 'guesstamate'.
Please remember I am a volunteer , the feedback is the only result I get from doing this.
Please provide feedback, nominations are appreciated.
