QuestionI found a question you answered previously regarding a fly rod with a ship logo and the name May Flower on it. I have a similar set that belonged to my grandfather. It is in a wooden box with sliding compartments on the lid storing small items. The rod has two tips and the handle can be reversed. Unfortunately I found this upon my grandfather's death and have no information. I would be happy to forward pictures of the logo. 2 sections will complete the rod in another configuration 3 section complete the rod.
I would like to try and find some history on it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, ERIK

I would love to take a look at pictures of the Mayflower rod. Please send pics to
[email protected]. So this rod is both casting and fly rod, a switch-r-roo ? Was your grandfather in the Armed services ? if so when ? Please include pictures of the box and rod, lengths , colors any detail will help. What kind of metal does it have , tin, nickel silver or chrome platted brass ?
