open faced reels

Could you please tell me how to restring a open faced reel?  I just purchased it today and started to put the line through my eyes on my rod and broke my string how do I refix it.  I have never used this kind of rod before. I would apprectiate the help if possibel.

Sorry that I haven't been on my computer for a few days, so I'll try to answer your question. To spool up a spinning reel run the line through a couple of guides and tie it of to the reel. Set the spool of line on the floor so that the line comes off the end of the spool in coils. Run the line through your fingers to put some tension on the line and crank the handle of your reel a few times. If the line is twisting up turn the spool of line over and take the line off the other end of the spool. I hope this helps and again I'm sorry that it took so long to answer your question.
