Answer
Donnie; While I am far from an expert when it comes to dealing with electronic devices maybe I can suggest a couple of things you might try before contacting a professional electronics expert.
Check to make sure that all connections to the battery are tight and clean. Check to see if the unit seems to be heating up during its 30 minutes of operation. Check battery voltage, many units will simply stop working if the voltage gets below a certain level. Check voltage at the battery and again at the input of the unit. If they are not the same you have some sort of resistance that develops during that 30 minutes. Do not open the unit as this would likely void any warranty. Try a different power source i.e. another battery that you know is well charged. Examine your leads to the transducer to make sure they are not damaged or get hot after a time of use.
If all of your connections are good and you have a good well charged battery putting out the correct voltage then the only thing you can do is contact the manufacturer or take it to a shop authorized for repair of this make of sounder.
Sorry I could not be of more help but if my sounder did the same thing I would check those things and if nothing could be found I would have to take it to the shop where a true expert could do something with it.
Thanks for calling on me to answer your question. If you have future questions more in my line of experience I will do my best to help.
