fishing in Ontario (fly in trip with 6 buddys)
Question
Jomusky, i'm 50 and have work as a jet mechanic for 25 yrs.i've been off work with some heart problems since nov.06 We go back to Kenora in Aug.(we were there last Aug.) and i want to be in shape to fish,we might spend 12 or more hours fishing and i sure don't want to be the wet blanket on our trip. DO you have some exersizes i could do to get myself in good fishing shape.

I am not a personal trainer but the best thing to get me in shape for fishing is to go fishing. The first couple of days every season are tough and I am sore afterwards but say on the 4th or 5th trip out I can take fishing all day quite well.
I do know that an elliptical is one of the best machines to use and routine stretching to keep all your muscles from being tight is very important.
