deep water bass

Question
i know bass are shallow but i never fish deep and i have seen many people catching big bass in deeper water how do i know where the bass will be in deep water and how do i know what lure to use in that deep water?

Well bass are shallow some time.. but not all the time. Whent he water gets warm they will go deeper to find cooler water. Look for points, channel drops and pods of bait fish along channels and where creeks join in the main river if you are on a reservoir.
Deep fish will normally hit a jig with a trailer since it acts like a crayfish. You can also use a DD22 which is a crank bait that dives to 22 feet if the fish are around bait pods. The new chatterbait can double for both.. using it with a soft plastic trailer to make it look like either a crawfish on the bottom or an injured fish when cranked at a slow rate of speed.
