sila-flex fly rod

hello rich i have what is a sila-flex rod that was my grandfathers. avid fisherman in n.m. it is a 8ft 3inch 3 piece pole with the fishing seahorse in 2 spots on the rod model f80-3 i believe from 1956.the reel seat is below cork handle the lower piece or the handle piece is 34inches the other 2 are 33inches .round fiber glass? 1/2inch diamater above handle,metal seems to be brass.i am interested in its possible value i have an interested buyer in texas but have no clue to its value. i'm hopeing you can give some info. i'm in new mexico i can send you my phone number if needed.

Basically NARMCO made the Silaflex and was purchased by Garcia.
I am a bamboo man not fiberglass. Fiberglass is just not collected like bamboo. It was made from the 1950s to the 70s.
I have no specific history or books on fiberglass, I believe they don't exist, but here's two web sites that on fiberglass:

Please be cautious about someone telling you your rod is worth thousands until they offer cash. . People want fiberglass to be collectable like bamboo but that doesn't make it so.
My guess=$50.
