Build a spinning Rod book/cd

Can you recommend a book/DVD on building your own spinning rod. My husband is interested in making a spinning rod. I have searched long and hard, but have found only books on building fly rods.

Hi Barbara,

I suggest you go to www.rodmakermagazine.com and review the accessories page.  There is an excellent book on rod making available there.  You may also wish to subscribe to the magazine.  You will also want to direct your husband to www.rodbuilding.org which is an online discussion board for rodbuilders and beginners are welcome there.  I also suggest taking a look at www.rodbuildersinternational.com as a source of information and a place for your husband to find answers.
