East Coast kayak reel

Matt,  you have helped me in the past....I have a Penn 450ssg and a Shimano Sahara 4000 - are either any good for kayak use off jersey shore?  What are regulars using?

Sorry but I am mostly a mid-west kayak fisherman with the occasional trip to the west coast. I really have not fished in conditions that require a dedicated saltwater reel.

I am, however, a dedicated Abu Garcia reel man for all of my heavy bait casters. But please remember that what I consider "Heavy", you would consider light. Sorry I can't be of more help.
