Answer
Hi Jerri,
You did not say if this is a casting, spinning or fly rod. You also did not say if it is bamboo or fiberglass. I am assuming it is a fiberglass rod, either casting or spinning, based on having received qeustions about similar rods in the past. I don't have a good reference book on the Heddon fiberglass rods, but I am looking for one.
Heddon produced "Lucky 13" lures for over 75 years. They also produced a "#13 Lucky Angler" bamboo fly rod which is not your rod. I assume they produced a series of fiberglass rods labeled "Lucky 13" to accompnay the lure series at some point.
Information regarding value is very limited but I have found one or two autions type sales for "Lucky 13" rods that list value in the $20-$40 range depending on the rod and its condition. I would assume this is a good old fishing rod that you might enjoy using. I doubt that it has any significant collector value. Thanks, Joe
