Hi I was wondering about an estimate for a Garcia Conolon Live Fiber Model #2451 6 1/2" Medium action. Its in beautiful brand new conditon but I dont have the orginal packaging. And also some history on it if you can. Im not interested in selling it because it belonged to my grandfather but he never used it. Thanks.

Hi Steve,

Sorry, I don't have a lot of background information on this rod.  I can say the most of these Garcia Conolon rods were produced in the 1965-1975 time period.  They have some collector interest, but are not valued really high.  My reference book values one in excellent to mint condition in the $50-$60 range.
