Answer
Hi Seth,
Rainy days are great days to fish. The low pressure and cloud cover are always better than a bright sunny day.
But too much at once often causes problems with the lake or river you are fishing. It can cause rivers to get muddy and fast and difficult to fish. It can also cause lakes to get muddy if there is a lot of bank run-off.
Other than that, I'd say go fishing. In general, the fish are more active and feeding shallower on overcast rainy days. It also keeps a lot of fair-weather anglers off the water.
The obvious warnings apply. Get off the water if there is lightning or thunderstorms in the area. And get off if the winds get strong and gusty.
Put on the rain slicker and go fishing!
