Is there a right or wrong way to put a twister tail on a jig??

Answer
One tip I can give you is to put a little super glue on the hook shank to keep the tail where you want it.

Some jigs come with the lead body a little longer onto the hook shank with a little barb to keep the tail up to the jig head. Super glue would help on these too.
