re: very old greenheart salmon rod with brass reel

Hi Rich , just been reading your latest replys and think you may be able to help me i have inheirited a greenheart  15 foot 3 piece salmon fly rod with brass reel and original ring and whipping i ama keen fisherman myself out in all weathers and i also repersent northern ireland in th european fishing championships , however i am not that in tune with the functions of the internet and can not seem to find much information on my rod to give me and age and value, which is what im trying to find out to see what history it holds and if its worth selling as i have young kids running about worry that fly rod would get damaged and imsure a collector would much more appreciate it than i could , i would be so gratefull for any information or guidance you can give me i can supply photos no problem

Sorry, I am a US trout bamboo fly rod guy. I believe your rod to be UK in origin. It is not in my books or memory. If you have a large library like the main one in Denver try;
