tonkin cane rod

i have an old vintage fly rod in the case. it says tonking cane on it and the name (one in script) on the rod looks like rinier. do you know anything about the rod as far as age or value.

I probably need a bit more information to help identify this one.

What color is the ink used to write the name?  White?  Black?

What color or colors are used for the thread wraps?

Does the written name appear to run towards the handle or away from the handle?

Are there any other decals, numbers names or markings on the rod?

Are there any names or markings on the case?

Is the "...Tonkin Cane" a decal?  It most likely said "Genuine Tonkin Cane" when it was new.

How long is the rod?  How many sections?

Do you have both tip sections?  Are they full length?

Do you have the original rod bag?  Is the rod case a tube?  Or, is it wooden with cutout forms for each section?

Is there any damage on any of the sections?
