HEDDON # 400

I HAVE A HEDDON # 400 FLY ROD. IT APPEARS TO BE ABOUT 5 FT. IN LENGTH. CAN YOU TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ROD. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Hi Keith,

The Heddon #400 at 5-1/2 feet is a bait casting rod rather than a fly rod.  These rods are listed in my reference book at around $80-$100 for one in very good condition.  

Realistically, they don't sell as well as the old fly rods do and you would probably have problems getting a price like that for it.  they are nice old rods, just not in demand like the fly rods.
