Have some experience at fishing.
Just turned 65 (I don't have to buy a license.
Will be fishing from banks or docks.
/will be fishing for small game fish. Bluegill, crappie,Sunfish and Rainbow trout.
I will probable be using 4 lb line.
Will be fishing Bull Sholes and Taneycomo lakes.
Which real should I buy.
I need EASY to use and TROUBLE free.
The main purpose is to provide fish for eating.

Hi Ron,
When you mention, "easy to use and trouble free", I immediately think towards a spincasting reel. These are about as easy to use and trouble free as they get. They are push button reels and the line is contained within the reel.
They also lend themselves to smaller fish like you mention.
The name Zebco has become synonymous with spincasting reels since they introduced them probably 50 years ago. They make them from under $10 to probably $50. You get what you pay for. The $10 will probably not be so trouble free. I'd recommend that you look at something in the $30 range.
Another very good spincast reel is the Daiwa Goldcast series. They are probably more in the $50 range.
