AnswerHi Rondot,
Thanks for the inquiry. It appears you have a very nice rod.
My D.B. Homel, "Antique & Collectible Fishing Rods Identification and Value Guide", 2003 Edition, lists your rod as: Poor/Fair at $60, Good/Very Good at $170, and Excellent/Mint at $295. Values are in US dollars, I'll let you do the conversion to Euros.
Bear in mind that these numbers were published in 2003 which makes them almost 6 years old now so you should adjust these figures upward by a reasonable percentage. I would think the adjustment could be as high as 20-25 percent depending on scarcity of the rod and its actual condition.
Your rod appears to be in at least Very Good and possibly Excellent condition based on the picture. These rods are more common in Europe than in the USA so you would be in a better position to estimate its relative scarcity. You need to take an objective look at it and then decide how it would be rated as to condition, then set a price within the parameters above.
As always, the actual value of your rod and the price at which you might sell it will be determined between you and any potential buyer and will be dependent upon the actual condition of the rod, its scarcity and just how badly the buyer wants it.
Good luck, Joe
