questions about reels and rods

ok I have several things I need help with;I have a True Temper Raider steel square rod.All I can find is a pat#. I also have a couple old reels ( one spin-casting and 2 baitcasters). 1.Shakespeare President #1970GD (baitcaster) 2.Shakespeare 1788 Heavy Duty #1788EC (spin-casting) 3.Pflueger Akron #1893. If you could help me you would be a God send. Thank You for your time.

I found a few references to True Temper Raider rods as square steel, one piece rods, probably made in Philadelphia or at least marketed from there. It seems as though these old steel rods should have some real collector value, but most don't. Your rod is likely valued in the $12-$20 range but is a good fishing tool.
I don't know much about reels. I do have one book on fly reels but none of your reels are listed in it.
I did a little looking at online auctions for these reels. Not the best place to get real values, but the ones for sale that match yours are offered in the $5-$10 range. Not a lot of bidding activity on them so there may not be much of a market for them.
