MONZA REEL

Question
i have a older monza spinning reel part #31322  its made in japan its blue and black . i cant find any info on it.   i think sears roebuck and simpson ltd sold it not sure though. anything about it would be good .thank you

Answer
Arthur,

I am not familiar with this reel, I suspect its a low end reel, so probably not worth much to collectors.

The value of reels today, tends to relate to their cost when they were bought new. The $40 reels in 1900 are worth $100s to $1000s today, the cheap reels back then were made in higher volumes and dont generate as much interest or value.

Note: right now its hard to sell fishing tackle...lots of supply little demand.
