fishing report for Dead Lakes

I am fishing dead lakes in about 10 days and was wondering what the Bass are biting and what part of the the are they biting best?

Charlton; I am sorry, I haven't fished Dead Lakes for years.  I have heard no reports either.  You might check with the Florida state fish and wildlife to see if they have information.  Of course, since the dam was removed several years ago the lake rises and falls with the rivers, both the Chipola and the Apalachicola.  Check the river reading at Blountstown.  If it is high, above about 10ft. Dead Lakes will be pretty full if the Blountstown reading is low the lake will be down.

I am sorry, I don't even know anyone down there to contact about Dead Lakes.
