Garcia Rod and Heddon rod
Question
I have two vintage rods I would appreciate some info on value. Early 1960's.
1) Garcia Conolon Companion #2604 6 1/2' Mid-Light Action two-piece spinning rod. (Maroon color)
2) Heddon Pal #8309 Mark I - 9' Fas-Tip Action , Line B - GBG or GAF (Light blue color)
Also Garcia 300 Flycasting spinning reel
Would appreciate any input you may have. Thank you.

my apologies for the delay in response. These rods are above average quality rods in their day. However, the main interest for rod collectors is American custom made split bamboo fly rods. Your rods are going to be at the lower end of collector interest.
Depending on condition and completeness (original bag, etc) the rods would probably run in the $20-30 range, the Heddon rod might do better if near mint condition original bag.
The reel is a great reel to fish with which keeps their value in the 20-30 range. If its perfect, original box it will go much higher - but most dont have the box and wear to the finish...still a great reel.
Right now, the collector market is very depressed due to the economy, lots of supply, little demand.
