Displaying a fishing rod

My husband was handed down his grandfathers fly fishing rod and would like to display it in our rec. room... Any tips on where i could find a case or fishing pole rack to attach to the wall.. was well as some of his own hand tied flys...

Hi Margo,

I would probably try to locate someone in your town who does woodwork or intarsia art work and see if you can get them to build something to hold the rod and flies.  It could be as simple as a nicely prepared piece of wood with some pegs and maybe a block of cork, or as elaborate as a nice box with a glass cover.

I bet that you can find someone, maybe even in your neighborhood, who can do this sort of work at a reasonable price and it would be custom made to display this rod and these flies.

If you find a really good craftsman, let me know so I can tell my wife.
