QuestionQUESTION: Mac....here are the photos of my 6037. All guides are all present - looks to be about 7/8 rewraps. All sections match and are the same length. Quite certain the sack is NOT Winchester and would not be surprised if the Black cardboard tube was not original either.
Hopefully these photos will show up.

ANSWER: Dan,
The pictures can't come through all experts but I got them via e-mail.
Price Book:
Antique & Collectable Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000) add about 30% for age of book
Homel gives the 9 ft Winchester model 6085 c.1932 with an extra tip, 3 sections a value of $60, 140 and $275 for poor, good, excellent condition respectively.
But I have learned you rod was made before 1924 under the direction of a very famous rodmaker , E.W.Edwards . Your rod is not in excellent condition , from pictures I would guess it is in good condition.
The rods I see on ebay going for 105 or less are later rods built by HI, as is the above price quote.
To get value for this rod it needs to be well described or sold to someone in the know. My estimate would be 800 - $1000.
Luck,
Mac
