what type of lure do you use when the water is dark?

Answer
Well by dark there are several things and problems..
Dark like in Tea colored, Dark like Green in rivers where there is a lot of Glacial Melt and the water has a lot of minerals or, dark like muddy?
One lure comes to mind in all these cases.. Rattling Lures, like the Rat-L-Trap or Blade Baits like the Silver Buddy work good because of the sound or vibrations. This will attract fish, and will also make nearby fish mad enough to want to kill them.
In muddy rivers Bright Orange or yellow will show up well.
In tea colored waters shiny lures work well and in rivers where there is a lot of glacial minerals, shiny, red, orange and yellow tend to work well along with black lures.
