Sea fishing for beginners

How do I connect the rod to the reel and then attach the various accessories such as hook and sinkers, floats as I am a complete beginner.

OK,
I am not trying to be rude here. I think you need to go to your local tackle store and talk to the person who sold you the tackle. If this is something you inherited or bought at a garage sale you still need to do that. I can not possibly describe this using text, and without the reel and rod I am not sure. Most come with a fairly simple system that will hold them to the rod. However some are different.

You can not use regular granny knots on fishing line. That knot will weaken the line so much as to make the line useless.
Rigging them will depend on what you are using and what you are fishing for. It will also depend on whether you are using live bait, dead bait or artificial.
One of the best ways to learn is to go to the local fishing hole and watch others. You can also hire a guide and ask for lessons on how to catch the local fish. Most are willing to give you pointers, but make sure before you hire a guide that you get one who is willing to teach. Some guides have that ability, some prefer to take out anglers with at least a basic knowledge.
