cane pole fishing
Question
I bought my son and I cane poles but I have never used one can someone tell me some basics or a mag. article I can read on how to get started?
Answer
Cane poles are for live bait panfishing. Primarily worms. Get some 6 pound monofilament line, small bobbers (long skinny ones best), split shot and good hooks. Tie the line on the end and fish away. The long poles are great for dropping your bait in just the right place. Pole holders may help too.
