Great Lakes Whirlaway

There was a Great Lakes Reel/Rod combo that the crank was pushed up into the reel casing after the cast.  Do you know the name of the Great Lakes Rod/Reel and where I could possibly get one.

there are two places to check

1. ebay (under sporting goods, fishing, vintage)
2. post a request at Joes Fishing lures

You have the correct name, Whirlaway. The first version, the handle moved along a slot - this is scarcer, more valuable.

The later version the handle is in a fixed position on the side.

The price will depend on condition and version of the reel. You can get an idea searching in ebay but $25 to $75 is a rough range.
