antique bamboo fly rod
Question
I recently bought a 6 sided what I think is a bamboo fly rod at a yard sale. There are no manufacturers marks on the rod. It is a 3 piece rod. It has a Perrine mfg. Pemco # 55 reel on the rod. With the reel it is 103" long with a cork grip that is 5 and one half inches long. There are 6 metal guides on the rod. The rod and reel appear to be antique. I wish i could send a picture. Would you have any idea what this is worth or is there someone around Kalamazoo Michigan area that would have knowledge on this? Thank you.

it will be tough to identify the bamboo rod without markings on it.... Your rod is 9 ft the most common length. I would post a photo of the handle here:

the reel is very common, not much collector value.
