Help with the make of a fly rod
Question
just wondering if you may be able to assist in identifying a fly rod.
2 piece
cork handle,copper colour bit where the reel goes on
deep greenish olive colour rod, changes in the light,maroon and light green bands near the eyes.
9 eyes
has 36 painted in the goldish colour on each part of the rod where you fit them together.
has "J McCormack" signed in a goldish colour near the base of the rod
Also has JET-FLY hand painted in the goldish colour near the handle
it also has featherweight?(it has a bit of scratching)right on the very end.

You missed a couple of very important pieces of information to help me help you.
Length of rod, what it is made of ( bamboo flat sided, fiberglass or graphite round sided), length of sections, position of reel seat above handle (fly) below (casting).
So the following is guess work:
You are in the UK and I don't see allot of UK rods in the west US.
Hardy (British) made a Jet fiberglass and a feather weight.
But they used serial numbers.
