Strike King 3 piece bamboo fly rod with extra tip

I am trying to find the value and history on this fly rod. It is a tonga bamboo strike king 3 piece 9 ' fly rod with an extra tip. All 4 pieces are the same length and it ha the strike king and tonga decals in good shape. also hand written on rod under the original varnish is "M 165". It appears to be on good to better than good condition.
