Bronson Reel
Question
I have a 1924 Bronson Fleetwing No. 2475 with a CORK on the middle,
I understand that only a hundred were made
Does it have any special value?
Answer
Hello
Bronson fishing reels were low end quality and cost in their day. They were high volume reels making them fairly common. They dont generate any significant collectors value. The cork center is an add on to reduce the amount of fishing line used to fill up the reel. (ebay has numerous ones available with no bids)
you can get a second opinion by searching "ORCA Fishing Reels", then select Reel talk on the right hand side of the home screen.
