Fenwick fly rod

Question
I am helping my mom clean her garage for a garage sale. She has a Fenwick fishing rod that I was wanting as much info and possibility the worth. Sorry,I have no way to send a picture. It is in very good condition,2-pc,yellow fiberglass, stamped fenwick with eagle, model FL102.7,reel placement below cork handle, almost 9'. Any info would be greatly appreciated, especially the value. Thank you very much!

Answer
Debi,
It is a fiberglass casting rod. It would be more if it were bamboo and or fly rod.
Garage sale - I would start at 75 and let it go at no less than $50.
I  am a bamboo man not fiberglass. Fiberglass is just not collected like bamboo. It was made from the 1950s to the 70s.
And spin / cast rods aren't collected like fly rods so low resale values.
I have no specific history or books on fiberglass, I believe they are rare or don't exist, but here's two web sites that all about fiberglass:
http://fiberglass-fly-rods.pbwiki.com/
http://www.fiberglassflyrodders.info/:
Please be cautious about someone telling you your rod is worth thousands until they offer cash. People want fiberglass to be collectable like bamboo but that doesn't make it so.
Please leave feedback.

Fly rods have the handle above the reel. Your hand doesn't get in the way. You may quote me the fly fishing instructor (10 years). I have over 50 years fishing experience. For casting you have to get you hand out of the way so the handle is below the reel.
However some rods have 2 handles one below one above the reel. This might be called a 2 handed if over 10 feet but is usually a boat or surf rod. And you can take all that to the bank , Anyone who knows will not argue with the above statements.
Thanks for the very positive feedback and nomination.
