Carp angling

Question
How do you fish for carp? I have tried everything, from dough balls to spinners. I have a friend who told me to snag them, but I refuse. Please give me some advice on how to legally fish for carp!

Carp are essentially Bottom Feeders,,,,,,the easiest way is to get a sliding sinker about 1 ounce, put that on the line, then a small plastic bead, the a swivel, and attach to the swivel a # 4 or  hook,,,on the hook place 2 or 3 kernels of sweet corn, right out of the can.

be certain to secure the rod well if you are bank fishing, many rods and reels have been lost to sudden carp strikes,,,,,, once you get this done and a few Carp under your belt you can graduate to bigger and better things,,,,
