In your experience, what artificial bait best imitates smelt?

HI Luke! How are you? Well I was looking through the question pool and I think I can help you! Well I dont normally fish for salmon but if I was trying to imitate smelt with artificial bait look no further then berkley gulp and gulp alive! They actually have a smelt imitating minnow that looks just like the real thing! They have them in a couple of sizes ranging from 3 to 5 inches they also have a jerk shad that has the profile of a smelt and that comes in a 5 inch size.
