battenkill spinning rod.

I have a battenkill spinning rod, serial no.32142 seven foot two PC the rod has orvis fullflex and 7ft.spinrod lures 1/4 to 1/2 oz.
it has a aluminum tube with the above information on it. I'm wondering if its worth anything or should i put it to use? it looks new. thanks for any info you can give me.

Hi Tim,

The Orvis Fullflex spinning rods date from the 1970s-1980s and the value on this one would be in the $125-$225 range depending on actual condition of the rod.

Your choice on using it or not...it should be fine to use it as long as there is no obvious damage to the rod.
