Bambo rod

I came across a two piece bamboo rod. It is a Chesapeake Boat Rod 5 1/2 ft. It is in its original cloth sleeve and has a number 02705 and made by Horrocks-Ibbotson co. Utica, NY. Is it worth holding on to.Thanks David Price

The Horrocks-Ibbotson boat rods in 5 1/2 ft length are valued in the $30-$60 range depending on actual condition of the rod.  This type of rod is becoming more popular in recent years as people are finding them and looking to restore a part of fishing history.
