Question
Wright & McGill No 1A
I recently purchased a lot of old fishing stuff. withing this lot there is a Wright and Mcgill No. 1a 8 ft 2 piece rod. Looks to be fiberglass, has an aluminum tube style case. aveerage condition, some surface tarnish, that would be easily cleaned up. any idea of the value?
I have a few others but the appear to be really old, with no markings, I have pictures if you interested in taking on the challenge.
Thanks,
Travis
AnswerHi Travis,
Looks like a fiberglass rod with the faux bamboo paint. The bag and tube are nice additions to the package. The rod value is in the $25-$45 range depending on actual condition. It would make a nice old glass rod for fishing.
