Garcia Fly Rod

I have an old Garcia 2582 T fly rod.  Can you tell me anything about it?  Thanks

Hi Douglas,

Garcia Corporation manufactured and sold fiberglass fly rods in the 1965-1975 time period so your rod would have been made during that period.  Most of the older glass rods work pretty well with a 6wt or 7wt fly line.  Value of the rod will be in the $10-$40 range depending on the actual condition of the rod.

It should be a good rod to fish with.
