Question
Rod Stamp rod stamp
We have a fly fishing rod that we are wondering about the value. My husband has not been able to fish much in the last several years and is considering selling it. The rod breaks into 4 pieces, has a pocket case and a steel case. I am attaching pictures of the stamps that are located on the rod. There is a third picture I can not attach that has the name Wright & Mcguill on it, stamped like the Granger Special stamp.
AnswerHello
can you tell me how long the rod is fully assembled? Also, Both tips should be the same length.
regards
Bob
Wright and McGill acquired the Goodwin Granger rod company starting in 1946. 9 ft and 8 Ft 6 inch rods are the most common, shorter rods are scarcer.
