My names Danny I play on my high schools jv team. Im 5'8 and i
have around a 36-37 vertical. I play normally left front or
middle. How can i make up for my height and gain more power
on my spikes. Is there a way i can get a better vertical or
something that I am not doing?

Hi Danny...
Your question is more "physical", not tactical so I can tell you that you need to do more on your
body... I don't know exactly your age but you can start with gym, only with light weights, to do
more on your speed not streinght and with speed you will gain more powerfull spikes... You can
consult a gym-trainer for the exercices with light weights and a lot of repeticions...

As I said I'm not an expert in wight lifting, only I can say is that you need to do is gym with very light weights but with a lot of repetitions and with a lot of series of that... you have to do on your speed not streinght so thats why you need to do the gym with light weights... the best thing is to go in the gym and make a program with the responsable person in there... u can go in the gym 2-3 times per week and stay not more than 1h and don't forget your volley-ball trainings because you have to stay in contact with the ball...
