Schedule 6 courts in 10 weeks for 11 teams
Question
QUESTION: I need to setup a schedule for 11 teams, on 6 courts for 10 weeks.
ANSWER: How many total matches do the teams expect to play?
You can have all 6 courts simultaneously? For how long? 1 hour? 2 hours?
Do you need a work team for each court? Can a work team do 2 or 3 courts simultaneously?
How many nights a week do the teams want/expect to play?
Best 2 of 3? Best 3 of 5?
Men, women, mixed?
My first impression: 4 simultaneous matches, 2 teams doing all the reffing and scorekeeping on all four courts, and one team gets a bye. If you like that idea, then maybe use 4 courts, 3 hours a night, x nights a week, for z weeks.

Thank you for visiting www.allexperts.com. And I hope you have time to visit my website at www.coachhouser.com. We just finished our 1st scrimmage and our 16's team went 6-0 vs. 17's and 18's. Now, we have a really tough scrimmage next week before we travel to Richmond for the Monument City Classic, January 17-19.

QUESTION: We have 6 teams playing 2 matches at 6:30 on three courts and 6 teams playing at 8:00 on 3 courts. The teams call themselves and keep score. Could you set up the schedule for the 10 weeks. We play 1 night a week.
Answer
Good morning!
I have it started for you. See what you think.
WEEK 1
6:30 1 vs 2; 3 vs 4; 5 vs 6
8pm: 7 vs 8; 9 vs 10; 11 vs 1
WEEK 2
6:30 2 vs 3; 4 vs 5; 6 vs 7
8pm: 8 vs 9; 10 vs 11; 1 vs 3
WEEK 3
6:30 2 vs 4; 5 vs 7; 6 vs 8
8pm: 9 vs 11; 10 vs 1; 2 vs 5
WEEK 4
6:30 3 vs 6; 4 vs 7; 9 vs 1
8pm 8 vs 11; 10 vs 2; 1 vs 5
And it continues in this fashion.
This will take some trial & error to finish up, but unless someone's a master at this stuff (I've never met one haha), then trial & error is all anyone has.
Thank you for the follow up. Hope you guys have a wonderful season!
