Format for a 17-team season & end-of-season tournament

Question
I need help scheduling 17 volleyball teams for a 9 week regular season games and 3 weeks of playoffs (double elimination for top 9 teams and single elimination for bottom 8 teams), plus teams are also assigned refereeing duties either before or after their games(s).  I believe one different team per week would have a doubleheader.  Please help...thanks!!!

I think you pretty much have the solution to your question in your hands.  You have the # of teams, the ref requirements, the playoff parameters, the # of weeks, etc.  

I wish I had a ready-made template, then I could sent it to you and save you a lot of work.  But, I don't have such a template.

Creating this schedule will just take a few hours, a few pencils, some Paxil (haha) and a lot of scratch paper.  I don't feel like I could do it any better (or much faster) than you could.  

In other words, there's a big tree to cut down. You have the chain saw in your hand.  Now, just go for it!  :)  

I do have an idea:  Maybe post your request onto another site (Prepvball, volleyseek, etc.) and see what response you get.  Maybe there does exist someone out there with a template that you can use.  That would be awesome, and I'd like to have one myself.  Why re-invent the wheel?
