Contacts with the foot & a kill during a net violation.

Hi, I have two questions: Can you use your feet to kick the ball as a last resource? And, if you jump to spike the ball and make  the point, but you touch the net on tour way down, is the point still good, or was it net violation?

The first question has been answered here several times in the past few months.  However, one thing that is new!!  The National Federal rules are allowing contact below the waste for the first time!!  AWESOME!!  That's another rule that will now be the same throughout a high school girl's playing experience.  Super!  

The second question:  which occurred first?  The point is over when a violation occurs?  Was it the ball on the floor,or you in the net?  Was the ball lifted by an opponent, or you in the net?  Whichever occurred first, that's the call the ref should make.  I've seen many kills taken away b/c the hitter was in the net.
